SILENCE! Is my upcoming stop motion animation film about a mutant creature who is bombarded by the overstimulating sounds of the city above that can be heard through the pipes. Made from 60% recycled material this film is set to release on Youtube in 2027.
Meet the Cast and Crew!
Hunter Komuro
Hunter Komuro (they/them) is a freelance electric and double bass player who recently stumbled into acting. Born and raised in Pasadena, CA, Hunter grew up with a deep love for the strange, scrappy, and camp, watching their father Cranston Komuro play the villain in the 1991 cult classic Samurai Cop. Following somewhat in his footsteps, Hunter made their screen debut painted completely green for Ethan Okamoto’s short film Yakuza Ondo, and they earned their first voice acting credit in Delilah Bender’s Silence! As a musician, Hunter makes psych-rock-jazz-fusion nonsense with their band Personal Space Man, and has played with bands ranging from jazz to mariachi to ska punk. Since 2022, they have performed at independent Bay Area venues such as Neck of the Woods, the Ivy Room, 924 Gilman, Brick and Mortar, Bottom of the Hill, and the Chapel. As of 2025, Hunter is also a licensed attorney who seeks to support independent artists and their rights as workers.
Connor Alexander Thomas
Connor Thomas is a comic artist currently attending San Francisco State University. He is dual majoring in Criminal Justice and Creative Writing, as well as getting a minor in Comic Studies. Connor has worked on personal projects including Pip is Lost, and Thunder Crash that have been published in student publications such as Transfer, and the Mix Nest. During his time at state, he had been the Treasure for the Comic Arts Club, and Collaboration Representative in Animation Society. Connor also worked as a student assistant for the Comic’s department under Nick Sousanis. Graduating in May 2026, Connor will be receiving the Summa Cum Laude award for his outstanding GPA as well as certificate for Comic studies.
