Welcome foolish mortals, this is where I post all my artwork, videos, animations and storyboards. All of my art is completely original showcasing my own original characters and worlds (Unless it is fan art. Fan art it will be credited with what media it is from.) Although I use photoshop to embellish my work I mainly use traditional media such as paint, clay, ceramic, ink and fabric.
Artist’s Statement:
All my life I have had a love for creating my own characters and telling stories about them. As a kid I spent many hours hand making comic books with printer paper and making clay animations with the discarded cardboard boxes. I still use the same characters I made back then. There is something very special and intimate about stop motion that I am drawn to. As an artist I am very hands on working with a variety of 2d and 3d mediums. I understand and appreciate all the intricate handmade details that an artist puts into each frame that connects the artists vision and creativity to the people watching. The result is truly magical. You can see that all the characters and sets in front of you are real and there is something so familiar about that. In my work, I love to use surreal and supernatural imagery of monsters, animals, and mystical creatures to convey different ideas. I use these concepts to cope with things that are going on in my own life. Every one of my characters represents myself or some aspect of my life such as anxieties, abstract thoughts, hope, fears, and desires. It is a way that I can express myself when I cannot find the words. With these surreal ideas I turn a character inside out to expose their true nature and the demons that live within. I think that animation is the perfect playful medium to convey the stories I want to tell. With animation one can make concepts such as death approachable and even fun. The possibilities are endless.

Your work gives me comfort in my own morality Delilah, I appreciate the visuals of life, death and the void in your work. The bright and fun colors in your character designs make morality seem welcoming and you even go the extra mile and add humor to it. You make such hard topics such as death approachable and I respect you for that.

It really takes me back to the actual primitive nature of man and how we as people can never truly know the ins and outs of the world.
